Poll Greeters provide a friendly, welcoming presence for voters and help represent the Wake GOP in a positive and professional manner. Poll Greeters help create a welcoming and organized experience outside Early Voting locations while representing the Wake GOP with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

Welcome voters with a friendly and positive attitude.

Help direct voters toward the proper polling entrance.

Share approved Wake GOP literature where legally permitted.

Answer basic, nonpartisan questions about voting hours and location access.

Maintain a professional presence and treat every voter respectfully.

Contact the Wake GOP coordinator when assistance or guidance is needed.

Poll Greeters must remain in legally permitted areas and must not interfere with voters, election officials, or activity inside the voting enclosure. Additional instructions will be provided before your assignment.

Each location, date, and shift is limited to three Poll Greeters. Weekdays have three shifts, while Saturdays and Sundays have two shifts. A shift will remain available until all three Poll Greeter positions are filled.

We understand that schedules sometimes change. If you need to change your Poll Greeter shift or cancel because you cannot attend, please contact the Wake GOP Office as soon as possible so the Poll Greeter schedule can be updated.
