Chairman Steve Bergstrom and the Wake County Republican Party are pleased to announce our first confirmed speaker for the 2024 Wake County Republican Convention is former United States Senator David Perdue (R-GA).
Senator Perdue served as a United States Senator from Georgia from 2015 to 2021. Prior to becoming a US Senator, David Perdue served as president and CEO of Reebok and CEO of Dollar General.
Senator Perdue is now a surrogate of President Donald Trump and will bring greetings on behalf of the former president as well as discuss the road ahead in 2024.
Wake County Republicans have a connection to Senator Perdue. During the 2020 Georgia runoff, Wake GOP volunteers traveled to Georgia multiple times to knock doors and help with the runoff efforts. Senator Perdue was grateful to our volunteers for their help, and he looks forward to visiting Wake County and personally thanking the many volunteers who were part of his campaign.
If you would like an opportunity to meet Senator Perdue and other guests, VIP tickets are on sale now.
