Biography:
Horace has lived in this area
for 58 years. He was born in Fuquay
Varina. He and his wife, Susie have
one son and three daughters. Horace
has a Bachelor's of Arts with
teachers certificate from Campbell
University, and selected courses at
NC State. He is a builder, developer
and former Wake County Public School
Teacher. He is new to politics and
brings a fresh viewpoint! Horace is
a member of the Chamber of Commerce
in Fuquay Varina and in Garner. He
is a Deacon and Sunday School
teacher at Piney Grove Baptist
Church in Fuquay Varina. Horace is a
Republican and his political hero is
Dwight Eisenhower. His favorite
movie is "Saving Private Ryan. As a
businessman and former teacher,
Horace understands the importance of
providing a world-class education
and believes in assuring that every
citizen's hard-earned tax dollars be
used wisely and efficiently. Horace
upholds parents, students and
taxpayers, all of whom are his
ultimate customers, and holds the
Wake County School Board accountable
for their actions. He is open and
candid when communicating fiscal
responsibility and academic
excellence and is goal oriented.
