1. What should the town do to relieve traffic congestion?
Traffic congestion may be relieved through the use of appropriate growth management, working with local companies to increase opportunities for staggered work schedules and telecommuting, traffic-light synchronization, and increased communication with NCDOT. The Town must also work to save money for future road improvements within the town.
2. Should Morrisville develop a distinctive town center? If so, what would you like to see in a town center?
The town center olan is an incredible opportunity to create a lasting public-private partnership that will offer Morrisville residents recreational, business, and residential opportunities. An exceptional town center offers economic development, as well as a source of civic pride for Morrisville residents. We should invite members of the commercial and philanthropic communities to partner with the town to develop this area and help it thrive.
