Only by WINNING these races in 2010 can we provide the necessary clout and pressure that will compel our elected officials to govern under the principles of our platform. In order to win these races this year, our Wake County Republican Party will be focusing on four main themes that will be continually repeated:
1.) Fiscal Conservatism – our elected leaders must treat the taxpayers’ money like they’d treat their own money. They must be frugal, efficient, and spend only on those areas that are necessary.
2.) Personal Responsibility – we all need to take “ownership” of our own lives, our decisions, and the consequences of those decisions, rather than relying on our government to make these decisions for us, or bailing us out from our own bad judgment.
3.) Focus on Family and Neighborhoods – the family unit is the backbone of the country, and the school is the backbone of the neighborhood. If either is at risk, then our country is at risk.
4.) Government Accountability – our elected officials, along with all government employees, should be accountable for their actions. Tax cheats, mismanagement and “ethical malfunctions” among our elected leaders must not be tolerated by the people.

Saturday Precinct Blitz!
We are doing a precinct blitz on every Saturday morning. We will gather at 9:00 AM, discuss the objectives, pass out the materials, and walk the neighborhoods at 10:00. Each walk list will have about 50 households. Everyone should be back to the meeting place at 1:00 PM.
The objective will be to gather email addresses of Republican voters so information about events can be sent to them via EMAIL and reduce the cost of mailing. We will also be asking for cell phone numbers so that text messages can be sent to them to remind them to vote. If any neighborhoods do not have a block captain, you should keep your eyes open for someone who would be a good block captain for the neighborhood.
I hope you can attend and bring as many volunteers with you as possible. The success of this election depends on everyone helping to get the word out.
If you are aware of candidates running for the NC House in this precinct, please invite them. If they bring literature to hand out, we will give it to all of the volunteers. We don't endorse any candidate but we welcome their help walking the neighborhoods and we will distribute their literature along with the Wake GOP hand out.

All Blitzes start at 9:00 and go until 1:00..
